Grammar:page621 exercise B

Composition: rough draft of Easter story due March 5;please bring in $3 for Easter Story Journal;final copy of Easter Story is due Thursday, March 18 

Vocabulary:

Spelling: page 118-119 exercises and 5 times each;pages 102-121 all due Thurs.

Penmanship:

Reading:

Students should read at least 45 minutes every night.  Mystery Book Report due on March 22nd.  Essay on Night study guide: Ch. 1, question 3, due on Friday, March 5th. Test on chapters 1-3, Night on Wed.

The Ch 9 test was sent home for a parent signature. I still have not received all of the signed tests.

Friday- Study for Monday's test on Ch 10.

The projects will begin on Wednesday. The groups have been informed who will give their presentation this week.

The bibliography that I gave the students for the SS project can be used for the upcoming science fair. Instructions will be sent home soon.

Reminders

Report cards were sent home.  Please sign and return the envelopes if you have not already done so.

Progress reports are being sent home on Wed., Feb. 24.  Please sign and return them.

 Anyone who marches will have a dress down day on Monday, March 8.

Shop at Stew Leonards between March 1 and April 4 and Christ the King will receive 5% of the total receipts spent by members of CTK.  Please bring your receipts to Christ the King School or Church.

Our mission project this month is "Hope for Denise."  She was a 1986 graduate of Christ the King.

Christ the King now offers Pizza Lunch every Friday and Deli Lunch Monday to Thursday,  Go to the SCHOOL FORM page for ordering information.

The school candy sale ended on Jan.22. If you have not sent in your money, please do so as soon as possible.

Information was sent home about Hoops For Hearts.  This program raises money for the American Heart Association.

The seventh grade joined their second grade buddies for Dessert Day to celebrate their First Penance.

March 17 is Dress Green day with your gym pants.
